Our Democratic elected officials have significantly improved our community since becoming the majority in 2016.
-Developed Lions Pride Park
-Improved Lower Nike Park
-Replaced outdated police station with new, state-of-the art facility
-Limited the building of big box stores by adopting amendments to local ordinances
-Passed ordinances to control development
-Expanded the trails Network
-Solved contaminated water problems
-Created a cost-saving climate action plan
-Increased Open Space at no cost to the Township
-Built a new community building
Our endorsed candidates will build on these successes by continuing to respond to the needs and issues of all of Warrington residents.
Lions Pride Park: Developed as a community space for recreation, enhancing quality of life for residents.
-Lower Nike Park: Improved facilities to better serve the needs of Warrington families and visitors.
-Police Station Upgrade: Replaced the outdated police station with a modern facility to ensure better safety and service.
-Development Control: Adopted amendments to limit large-scale retail developments to protect community character.
-Ordinances for Managed Growth: Passed regulations to oversee and control future development in Warrington.
-Expanded Trails Network: Increased accessibility and outdoor activities for residents through an expanded network of trails.
-Water Quality Solutions: Addressed and resolved issues related to contaminated water for community health and safety.
Our Democratic officials manage future development with an eye towards long-term effects on traffic, taxes, and maintaining the quality of life we have come to expect and enjoy! These continuing efforts include
-Procuring a $1M+ grant to preserve open space, agricultural soils, and historical structures.
-Ensuring that our residents have safe drinking water
-Maintaining and increasing Warrington Township’s governmental and financial transparency.
-Seeking ways to keep taxes down while also protecting our public schools and maintaining our vital services, such as police and EMTs.
-Working with parents, educators, and our community to ensure that our school district remains fiscally sound and our students have the tools they need to succeed in tomorrow’s economy.
-Serving as role models for other elected officials.
-Working with residents to ensure that they receive the Homestead Tax Credit (if qualified) and providing access to information for the State Property Tax Rebate.
